The Belmont Soil & Water Conservation District is excited to host a Youth Pheasant Hunt designed to introduce young hunters to upland bird hunting in a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment.
A mandatory shooting and instruction day will be held on Friday, October 30 at 5:00 PM at the Bethesda Sportsman Club. Participants will receive instruction on firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, hunting ethics, and what to expect during the hunt.
The Youth Pheasant Hunt will take place on Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 AM at Egypt Valley. Young hunters will have the opportunity to hunt pheasants with experienced guides and bird dogs while enjoying a fun day outdoors and learning more about responsible hunting and wildlife conservation.
