Beverly Riddle, District Program Administrator

In 1999, Riddle became the Districts first Program Administrator responsible for managing the office, public relations, marketing, and developing new District programs areas and services. She resides in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, where she and her husband, Bruce, raise Angus cattle. They have two sons, Bob and Bart Morrison, who farm and work in agricultural related professions. She received her Bachelors degree in Education from the Ohio State University. She taught at Carrollton High School and was 4-H and Home Economics Program Assistant for Jefferson County Extension Service. Before becoming DPA in Belmont, she served as a Supervisor for 9 years in Jefferson County, Area 3 OFSWCD Director and Chairman.

Brian Porterfield, District Technician

Porterfield, a life-long resident of Belmont County, currently lives in St. Clairsville raising beef cattle on his family farm. Porterfield graduated from the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute in 2003, with an Associates Degree in Beef and Sheep Production and Management.

Nathan Taylor, Wildlife/Forestry Specialist

Taylor, originally from Key, near Bellaire, Ohio, is a graduate of Hocking Technical College in Nelsonville, Ohio, where he earned an Associates Degree in Recreation and Wildlife Management and a second Associates Degree in Forest Management. Taylor has worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Parks Division at Burr Oak State Park in Glouster, Ohio. He worked two seasons with the United States Forestry Service at the White River National Forest in Meeker, Colorado. Once returning to Belmont County, Taylor worked with a logging company for 10 months, where he was involved with all aspects of the logging operation.

Eric Gibson, Watershed Coordinator

Gibson, originally from Cambridge, Ohio currently lives in St. Clairsville.   Gibson is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where he earned a Masters Degree in Environmental Monitoring.  He previously worked with acid mine drainage with other watershed programs in southeast Ohio.
